Baron Davis is still a very good pg, but I don't think he's better than Billups at this stage in their careers. Billups gave you great defense and could score in the clutch. Still Knicks have a pretty solid all around team and with additions of chandler and balkman (don't sleep, he's a guy who makes those scrappy plays and is great on the defensive end), I think they're a better overall team than last season. I feel like D'Antoni's system still has major flaws though

...CB, at this stage, is about equal to B Davis in terms of D. He's also better on the pick and roll (a better natural passer throughout), and is just as clutch (see the 07 playoffs, last year vs the Heat, etc.). His issue has been motivation; I see him averaging 9 assists a game from lobs to Chandler and Amare alone. He's going to kill in this system.

The flaw being NO DEFENSE!.D'antoni is an overhyped coach man.So glad that the Bulls didn't end up with him seasons back man.

I feel you about d'antoni I'd rather have another coach the thing that sucks is they're gonna be to good to miss playoffs but d'antoni's game is not gonna get us a championship which is gonna bite us in the ass because how are you gonna fire a coach that gets you in the playoffs or at least fire him soon enough to take advantage of this core group
